Can you believe Philosophy's iconic Hope in Jar is almost 10 years old?
I can't. The instantly recognisable monochrome moisturiser revolutionised the beauty market with its streamlined design, playful title and inspiring words. Its incredibly light souffle-like texture and moisturising effects attracted a legion of fans.
Now it's back, and apparently better than ever. Philosophy are releasing Renewed Hope in a Jar, the evolution of Hope in a Jar, along with a 'Renewed' cleanser and eye cream.
I'm looking forward to putting the Renewed Hope range to the test, but so far I'm impressed by its power-packed ingredients. It ticks every box you'd want in a Very Good Moisturiser and boasts clinically-tested skin-improving results, thanks to the blend of AHAs (which exfoliates and renews skin cells to improve texture) and hyaluronate acid (an excellent humectant with skin-plumping properties). Rounding out the new range is Renewed Hope in a Jar Eye, a whipped illuminating eye cream which works to brighten dark circles and improve the look of fine lines. There's also a night cream, Hope in a Jar Night Intense Retexturizing Moisturizer, which includes glycolic acid to assist your skin's natural over-night renewal process. It's an absolute winner and doesn't have that heaviness often associated with traditional night creams.
