Looking for something to make this weekend? If you’ve got basic crochet skills, you can easily whip up a two-tone crochet basket with the step-by-step tutorial over on Crafts & DIY Tuts+.
This free crochet pattern was created by Dutch crochet super-star Marinke Slump (aka Wink from A Creative Being), and it’s a really quick and easy project to make.
You can also adapt the pattern to make larger or smaller baskets, which is handy if you want to make a matching set of them. You could try using a different tonal shade for each basket for a graduated ombre look.
